Do you know the working principle of supermarket anti-theft alarms?

Publication time:2018/10/17

The principle of anti-theft is as follows: install a supermarket anti-theft device at the entrance of the store, with the installation distance at an appropriate width according to the usage needs. In this way, every two anti-theft devices form a channel. When customers pass through this channel with clothes or goods that have not been paid for, the anti-theft device will sound an alarm and prompt, thus achieving the purpose of anti-theft. However, if there is no anti-theft buckle, the anti-theft device will not sound an alarm. In fact, we have fastened the anti-theft buckle on the clothes and unlocked it with a nail remover during checkout. This way, the anti-theft buckle is removed. If the payment is not made, it means that it has not been unlocked, and the anti-theft buckle is still on the clothes, which will sound an alarm when it passes. Let's break down the anti-theft principles of acoustic magnetic anti-theft devices and radio frequency anti-theft devices:

Principle of anti-theft tag for acoustic magnetic system

The resonance phenomenon generated by the tuning fork principle, when the frequency of the emitted signal is consistent with the oscillation frequency of the acoustic magnetic tag, the acoustic magnetic tag, similar to a tuning fork, will resonate and produce a resonance signal; When the receiver detects a continuous 4-8 resonance signal, the receiving system will issue an alarm.

Supermarket anti-theft devices generally consist of anti-theft antennas, soft tags, hard tags, decoding boards, and kaisuo devices. They are usually installed in prominent locations in supermarkets and can directly detect effective supermarket anti-theft tags fixed on goods, causing them to emit sound and light alarms. Supermarket products usually have two types of anti-theft devices, one is a small magnetic strip, commonly known as a "soft label", and the other is a magnetic device with a buckle, commonly known as a "magnetic buckle". They both use the principle of magnetic induction to prevent theft and are equipped with magnetic sensors inside.

If the product passes through the anti damage door without demagnetization, an alarm will be triggered. After the customer selects the product and pays at the checkout counter, the cashier will demagnetize the product with the anti-theft tag. If it is a soft tag, it will be demagnetized on the demagnetizer on the checkout counter. If it is a hard tag, a special tool will be used to separate the hard tag from the product, so that the customer's purchased product can pass through safely.

Principle of Electronic Anti theft Tags for RF Systems

Composed of supermarket anti-theft antenna (transmitter and receiver), decoder, hard tag, and soft tag. Simply attach a soft label to the product during use to protect it. When someone attempts to steal a product with a label, the detection antenna detects the label signal on the product after passing through the detection channel, and at the same time emits an alarm sound to promptly alert security personnel, thus achieving the purpose of supermarket loss prevention.

At the exits of some large shopping malls, supermarkets, and clothing stores, we can basically see supermarket anti-theft devices, which are mainly used to provide anti-theft alarms for goods and reduce losses for merchants. People often ask: How did you install this anti-theft device so that the product would sound an alarm when passing through the anti-theft aisle? Many people believe that the alarm is caused by the barcode on the product, but those who understand the principle of anti-theft devices know that it is the anti-theft buckle that plays a role.
